Ziggy Chen's Leather Messtin Box Bag is built as a compact black leather shoulder bag with a layered, box-like body. A wide adjustable strap attaches at the sides, while an articulated upper frame, exposed hinges and aged metal fittings give structure to the softened leather.

Overlapping front compartments and curved flap edges make the construction legible from the outside. The tension between the rigid frame and worn surface reflects the collection's restrained approach to material and form.
