This derby shoe exemplifies Carol Christian Poell's iconic Drip Rubber series, featuring traditional Goodyear welt construction enhanced with the brand's signature liquid polyurethane treatment that drips and solidifies during production, creating the distinctive melting aesthetic that has become synonymous with CCP footwear. Crafted from CORS-PTC horsehide (Cordovan) measuring 1.0-1.2mm thickness and finished in color 19 grey with bronze vegetable-tanned accents, the shoe undergoes the Object-Dyed Process where the completed construction is dyed as a single unit, resulting in unique surface variations and the characteristic irregular patina that develops through wear.
